Restylane® Lyft
As facial volume diminishes with age, men and women can experience wrinkles, sagging, and hollows in various areas of the face. Like other products in the Restylane® family, Restylane® Lyft is an FDA-approved dermal filler composed of a hyaluronic acid formula that can restore lost facial volume and minimize wrinkles. Restylane® Lyft is specifically designed to target both the midface region and nasolabial folds (sometimes referred to as “smile lines”) for patients who are 21 years and older. With Restylane® Lyft, patients can enjoy replenished facial volume and a younger-looking appearance.

Restylane® Lyft is composed of a more robust hyaluronic acid formula, allowing this unique dermal filler to effectively rejuvenate areas of the face that require more volume restoration. This member of the Restylane® family is also the only dermal filler FDA-approved to treat both nasolabial folds and the midface region. This makes Restylane® Lyft highly beneficial for cheek augmentation.
During the consultation process, you will undergo a thorough facial exam and discuss your cosmetic concerns with one of our dermatologists. After a discussion of your expectations, your dermatologist can help you decide if Restylane® Lyft is the best option for helping you achieve your goals. If you prove to be a good candidate, the hyaluronic acid gel will be administered with a very small needle into the target areas. Since the formula contains the anesthetic Lidocaine, the treatment should have minimal discomfort. Many patients choose to combine Restylane® Lyft with another injectable to address other common age-related concerns of the face.

Recovery from Restylane® Lyft
After the Restylane® Lyft procedure, patients can typically return to their normal activities without the need for any downtime. Some patients even choose to schedule their procedure on a lunch break or in between other appointments. In some cases, mild bruising or swelling may occur, though these should resolve quickly. Most patients see results from Restylane® Lyft immediately, and these effects can last up to 12 months or more. Follow-up sessions can be scheduled to maintain these results for the long-term.
