Profractional XC™

Are you looking for complete skin rejuvenation? Profractional XC™ is an ablative laser procedure that has the ability to treat fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne scarring and more!

How Does The Profractional XC™ Work?

The Profractional XC laser works by targeting specific sections of the skin. This allows for the area surrounding the treated skin to “heal” the area and promote the bodies natural production of collagen. By doing this, you will notice a more even and youthful appearance to the skin.

What Happens During A Treatment?

Your skin will be cleaned and prepared for the procedure and you will be offered protective eyewear. During the treatment, the laser hand piece will be rotated around the treatment area, ensuring a full and successful treatment, typically taking around 30 minutes.

Is There Downtime With This Procedure?

After the procedure your skin will be red and mimic the response of sunburn. Some patients do note swelling after their procedure. This will generally subside within 48-72 hours. Most of those who are treated feel comfortable returning to work within 24 hours. You may be offered a cream or ointment to assist with the healing process.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

It is always good to discuss a treatment plan with your chosen provider. Typically you can to see results in as little as one treatment, but the amount of treatments necessary will vary per patient.

What Areas Of The Body Can Be Treated With Profractional XC™?

The face and neck are the most commonly treated areas of the body, but you are able to use this just about anywhere on the skin.
