This treatment is ideal for patients who are losing volume in their faces as they age. Sculptra® Aesthetic can be placed almost anywhere there is volume loss. How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Sculptra Aesthetic is administered in a series of treatment sessions. On average, three treatment sessions are needed over a few months, but I will work with my patient and tailor the sessions to best suit their specific concerns and desired outcome. Once the desired appearance is achieved, the results can last up to two years. After each session you will look very natural and usually makeup may be applied right after.
What Results Will I See?
Since this treatment requires three sessions, you’ll begin to notice a fuller and more youthful-looking face along your three to four-month treatment journey. Is There Any Downtime?
You can wear makeup immediately after your treatment session. Patients who choose this injectable are instructed to massage their treatment area five times daily, for five minutes each massage, for the entire week after their treatment. This regimen will help reduce side effects you may experience at the injection site, including bleeding, discomfort, redness, bruising, swelling, small bumps and lumps under the skin, or infection.
