How Does It Work?

Compared to other lifting procedures, which must cut and slice the skin to achieve the goal, Ultherapy® uses ultrasound technology, going deep below the foundation of the skin. Since ultrasound is used, it allows the dermatologist to visually target tissue during treatment. You can notice results as soon as the first treatment, but most patients will see full results after 2-3 months. It’s important to follow the full treatment plan to see optimal results.

 

Is Ultherapy® Painful?

In comparison to other plastic surgery methods that use the scalpel, need stitches and give you days and weeks of swelling, healing and recovery, there is little to no discomfort with Ultherapy®. Some patients might experience minor discomfort from the ultrasound energy emitted, but it is virtually painless and you will leave the office feeling fabulous. Most patients experience no pain and love the transformation.
 

How Long Does It Last?

After properly following the treatment plan, the effects can last up to a year. It is important to keep in mind that your skin is ever aging. Occasional touch up treatments will be needed to ensure your skin retains the youthful results that were attained with Ultherapy® treatments.
