Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in LATISSE®, boosts the number of hairs in the growth phase, and thereby increases the length of the lashes. Often, an increase of about 18 percent in darkness (color) of lashes; 25 percent additional length; and more than 100 percent improvement in fullness is observed with treatment.

LATISSE® Treatment

Treatment is painless, and convenient. After cleansing your face and removing contact lenses, you simply brush the clear, topical liquid onto the upper lash line. Sterile applicators are disposable – you use a clean one each night to safeguard the health of your eyes. Changes can be noticed in about four weeks, and full outcome in sixteen weeks.

The formulation is very safe. Less than four percent of users experience a mild itching sensation in the eyes, or temporary redness. But be sure to talk with your doctor if you experience pigment changes to the skin around your eyes or any other unusual symptoms after starting LATISSE® treatment.
