Patrick Evans, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical dermatology at Sanova Dermatology in Pflugerville, Texas, serving the greater Austin area. He provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a strong focus on diagnosing and treating complex and chronic skin conditions. Patrick is especially experienced in managing severe acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, rosacea, and hidradenitis suppurativa, and he stays current on the latest biologic and systemic therapies to ensure his patients receive advanced, evidence-based treatment.
Patrick earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2018. He also completed the prestigious Diplomate Fellowship program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, demonstrating advanced training and commitment to excellence in dermatology. Prior to his medical career, Patrick worked in cognitive neuroscience research at the University of Texas at Dallas and spent time in the music industry. He also has a background in internal medicine, giving him valuable insight into how dermatologic conditions and treatments interact with other chronic health concerns.
Having personally struggled with severe acne as a teenager, Patrick understands the physical and emotional impact skin conditions can have. His empathy, combined with his clinical expertise, drives his commitment to helping patients achieve clearer, healthier skin. He performs a variety of dermatologic procedures, including punch and shave biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and skin cancer evaluations.
Originally from Texas, Patrick is excited to serve patients in the Austin area and build lasting relationships within the Pflugerville community. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, playing bass guitar, attending concerts, and spending time outdoors.
