Dr. Jennifer Vickers, MD, is a double board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist serving Pflugerville and the greater Austin area. She specializes in comprehensive skin, hair, and nail care, including general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer screenings, mole evaluations, acne treatment, eczema management, psoriasis care, rashes, and autoimmune skin conditions. Dr. Vickers also performs minor surgical procedures, including cyst removals, biopsies, and excisions.
A Texas native, Dr. Vickers earned her undergraduate degree with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her dermatology residency at New York Medical College in Manhattan and a fellowship in dermatopathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She previously served as an attending physician and assistant professor at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin, overseeing cosmetic dermatology and dermatopathology education.
Dr. Vickers combines clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach, developing individualized treatment plans for every patient. She is also a principal dermatopathologist for Sanova Dermatology, reviewing skin biopsies to ensure accurate diagnoses, and serves as a co-investigator with the Austin Institute of Clinical Research. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Vickers enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring Austin’s vibrant music scene.
