UltraClear® Laser Skin Resurfacing
UltraClear® is an advanced cold fiber laser resurfacing treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and overall radiance while supporting long-term skin rejuvenation. Unlike traditional ablative lasers that generate significant heat, UltraClear's cold fiber technology delivers precise energy to the skin while helping to preserve surrounding tissue, allowing for a more comfortable experience and typically faster healing.
UltraClear works by creating controlled micro-channels in the skin, which trigger your body's natural healing response and stimulate new collagen production. As the skin renews itself, treated areas gradually appear smoother, firmer, and more even in tone.
UltraClear is highly customizable and can be used to address:

What to expect during UltraClear treatment
Depending on the intensity of your treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied beforehand to help keep you comfortable. During the procedure, you may feel warmth or mild pinpricks as the laser passes over the treatment area.
Downtime depends on treatment depth: lighter sessions typically involve only 1–3 days of mild redness or dryness, while deeper resurfacing treatments may involve 3–7 days of redness, swelling, or peeling as the skin renews itself. Your provider will walk you through what to expect based on the treatment level chosen for you.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT SCHEDULE & RESULTS
Many patients see visible improvement within days of a single session, with results continuing to build over several weeks to months as collagen remodeling progresses. Depending on your goals, your provider may recommend a series of treatments, with maintenance sessions afterward to help sustain results.
UltraClear treatments at Sanova Dermatology's Bee Cave office are provided by April Matthews, LME, with Dr. Thrash performing treatments periodically as needed.
