What is Profractional XC?

Profractional XC is an ablative laser that treats:

Fine lines
Wrinkles
Sun damage
Acne scarring
Dull skin

How does it work?

The Profractional XC laser works by targeting specific sections of the skin. This allows for the area surrounding the treated skin to heal the area and promote the body's natural production of collagen, leading to a more even, youthful appearance.

What to expect during Profractional XC treatment?

First, your skin will be cleaned and prepared for the procedure, and you will be given protective eyewear. During the treatment, the laser hand piece will be rotated around the treatment area, ensuring a full and successful treatment, typically taking around 30 minutes.

After the procedure your skin will be red and mimic the response of sunburn. Some patients do note swelling after their procedure. This will generally subside within 48-72 hours. You may be offered a cream or ointment to assist with the healing process.

Most patients return to work within 24 hours.

It is always good to discuss a treatment plan with your chosen provider. Typically you can to see results in as little as one treatment, but the amount of treatments necessary will vary per patient.

The face and neck are the most commonly treated areas of the body, but you are able to use it just about anywhere on the skin.
