What is CO2RE CO2 laser treatment?

The Syneron Candela CO2RE is a laser system designed for skin resurfacing and facial rejuvenation. Through the use of targeted light, Syneron Candela CO2RE works to reduce the signs of aging and alleviate the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars, blemishes, or scars. It encourages the production of collagen and healthy new skin cells. It also has the ability to treat superficial and deep skin layers simultaneously.

The Syneron Candela CO2RE contains superior technology that can provide complete facial rejuvenation in a single treatment.

What to expect during CO2RE CO2 laser treatment?

First, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and a topical numbing agent will be applied to maximize your comfort. Once the numbing cream kicks in, laser treatment will begin, typically lasting between 30-60 minutes. You may feel a warm prickling sensation throughout treatment.

This treatment is for those with stubborn fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, or enlarged pores. As with any new treatment, it's important to make an appointment with a medical provider to discuss whether you are a candidate for this treatment.

During the first few days after treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, and tightness. Minor pinpoint bleeding or oozing may occur. Around day 3, skin may start peeling as it heals. Peeling should stop within two weeks, and you can return to wearing makeup 7-10 days after treatment.
