Dr. Katharine Saussy, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in Old Metairie and the greater New Orleans area. She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a focus on skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, hair loss, and anti-aging treatments including Botox® and dermal fillers. Dr. Saussy is dedicated to individualized treatment plans that promote long-term skin health and confidence for her patients.
A proud native of New Orleans, Dr. Saussy is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and participates in community initiatives such as School Sun Safe and free skin cancer screenings with Mary Bird Perkins. She combines her expertise in preventive dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and advanced skin care to provide thorough skin evaluations and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Saussy enjoys an active lifestyle including Pilates, Megaformer, and whitewater kayaking, and indulges her passions for sushi, bourbon, and Creole cuisine. She spends summers in Tuxedo, North Carolina, with her family and fur pets, Parker and Arabella.
