After earning her aesthetician license at The Aveda Institute in The Woodlands, Texas and gaining her laser technician license, she has made her way to our Dermatology office to share her cosmetic knowledge! Tell us a little bit about your medical/cosmo background?
I have worked in cosmetics for 8 years, and in the medical field for 6 years. I love how they can work together and compliment each other.
What drives you?
Making patients happy is very important. Also a good work environment is key to making it a great day!
What is your favorite part of working with patients?
Developing relationships and working towards a goal together. When that goal becomes a reality it is extremely rewarding.
Do you try any of the treatments and products yourself?
Yes! I love to try it all; for the benefit of myself and the patient. I like being able to explain the treatment from my own experience.
What made you want to pursue becoming a “Medical Aesthetician”?
I love to make people feel and look beautiful. I get the best of both worlds, in my opinion.
What is one part of the cosmetic process that you find crucial?
SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN!!!
