Restylane Lyft® is the densest gel, usually used in the mid face when a more dramatic correction is needed to fill in deeper wrinkles. “I like it to plump cheeks and create greater definition when contouring the flatter planes of the face and firm jowls,” says Dr. Kellie Reed, a dermatologist at Sanova Dermatology.
Restylane®, the “mid-size” model, fills fine lines, smile lines, under-eye sags and moderate wrinkles in every part of the face. “It is our first line of defense when wrinkles begin to appear,” says Dr. Reed.
Restylane Silk® has the lightest consistency, intended for the mouth and lips. Vertical “smokers” pleats, and thinning lips respond well to “Silk“. Many patients opt for lip enhancement to create a more “pouty” profile, or to define their lip line so lipstick doesn’t bleed.
You will see the improvements almost immediately, but this non-surgical procedure is not a permanent fix. The manufacturer says:
